Dr. Farnaz Gaminchi received her Bachelor degree from University of California at Los Angeles in 1990. She graduated Magna Cum Laude; she then pursued her medical degree in Boston, Tufts School of Medicine.
She graduated with Honors and was amongst the top of her class. She received her training in internal medicine from Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and completed her dermatology training at Loma Linda Medical Center. She served as the chief resident in dermatology during her final year. At Loma Linda, she taught undergraduate and graduate classes and participated in the medical center's dermatology research programs. She established her practice in West Hills in March of 2000 and is on staff in West Hills Hospital.
She is Board Certified in dermatology and has extensive experience in skin cancer surgery, laser procedures, and cosmetic dermatology. She currently is a member of American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and is a fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery.
Dr Farnaz Gaminchi has won Vitals.com awards for the 2010 Patients’ Choice Award, and recognized as a 2009 Compassionate Doctor.
Dr Gaminichi is mother to two beautiful girls, Sofia and Soraya. She enjoys hiking, traveling, running on the beach, and reading.
Dr. Sarah G. Maggio is a Board Certified Dermatologist, who received her Bachelor degree from the University of Dayton in Ohio where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania for her medical degree where she graduated in the top of her class.
Her dermatology training was completed at Michigan State University, St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her extensive training at St. Joseph included general medical and surgical dermatology, as well as specialties including cosmetic dermatology, Mohs and laser surgery, dermatopathology, immunodermatology, pediatric dermatology, clinical research trials, and tropical dermatology in the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Maggio is involved in many different organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and The American Society of Dermatopathology.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as numerous outdoor activities and traveling.
Kerry Schlosser is a nationally board certified physician assistant licensed to work in the state of California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with her Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2000, she earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University. She has been working in dermatology for the past nine years and previously worked in general and plastic surgery. She had an article on infantile hemangiomas published in the May 2009 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In addition, she continues to read and attend conferences about dermatology in order to broaden her knowledge of the field.
As a physician assistant, Kerry is qualified to perform detailed history and physical examinations, diagnose, and prescribe all necessary medications and/or treatments. She is adept at performing biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, and numerous cosmetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, and sclerotherapy.
