How does BOTOX® work?
Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle can't contract. That makes wrinkles relax and soften. BOTOX® Cosmetic works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines in adults.
How long does BOTOX® last?
Botox is meant to last between 4 months to 6 months, although if this will be your first Botox treatment, it may wear off sooner than the average lasting months, and this may vary from one patient to another.
