Dysport®
Dysport® is a type of neurotoxin, otherwise known as botulinum toxin and used to treat and prevent wrinkles from forming. Dysport® is meant for use in people with moderate to severe glabella lines, the area between your eyebrows. Your dermatologist or plastic surgeon can help you tell the difference between mild and moderate wrinkles of this type.

How does Dysport® work?
Upon injection into the muscle, Dysport® causes the muscle to relax, restricting contractions and facial expressions that typically lead to the formation of lines and wrinkles. Dysport® acts as a neuromodulator that blocks the release of acetylcholine from presynaptic motor neurons, causing the injected muscle to relax. You will typically see results within two weeks.
How long does Dysport® last?
Your results from Dysport® may last up to five months.
